Discovery Education 101

Through our district subscription of Discovery Education faculty and staff have access to streaming videos and clips, images, music, audio, digital stories, virtual field trips, professional development, quizzes, writing prompts, lesson plans, activity ideas, special events and much more. In addition, it is possible to allow student access to some of the media through a simple login/password.

There is simply too much to cover in one blog post! Take a few moments to view these great resources through a new interface that simplifies access, makes student accounts easier to create and manage, and better highlights newest additions through the New & Noteworthy tab.

A few things to be aware of:
  • A login and password are required to access Discovery Education resources.
  • Access to streaming content is disabled between 9am and 3pm. Be sure to download resources outside of this timeframe.
  • Our in-house servers are slowest between 8:45 and 9:30 am. Place a copy of what the media you would like to use on the laptop or computer connected to your interactive board to ensure a smooth viewing experience.

Forgot your Subcriber Login or Password? Please see Mrs. Bond. We can look up your account to learn your username.
